This is a classic Philips all transistor car radio from 1962/1963 with medium wave and long wave. The Philips is switchable for 6 and 12 volts with minus or plus to chassis so also usable in English cars. Currently, the radio is set at 12 volts with minus on the chassis. The Philips has been tested and receives 675 and 1008 on the medium wave, on the long wave 1 French transmitter. Amplifier could be louder.
This more than 56-year-old Philips has a nice scale, a metal chrome faceplate and 'vintage' Philips buttons. On the last photo of the AAM (thank you) this type of Philips is depicted in its original condition.
This nice vintage Philips looks good in any brand classic from the 60s. Is offered with * * NO RESERVE * * and is shipped well-packaged, insured and registered.
