In 1924 Willi König and Willibald Felsting founded the company 'Markenuhr GmbH' out of the German Association of Watchmakers. As a brand first Centra then ZentRa were established.
On September 4, 1927, the "Markenuhren-Verein" with the original trademark "Centra" (from Central Association of German watchmakers or Central Association of German watchmakers) was founded in Berlin. The so-called ZentRaisten had from the beginning only one goal: to supply the specialized trade with high-quality watches at market-oriented prices.
