Ennio Finzi is unofficially considered the last living spatialist painter and, as he himself remembers, in 1951 he was only 16 years old and could not be enrolled in the pictorial movement of Spatialism as Tancredi Parmeggiani (1931 - 1964) was, who at the time was twenty years old.
Since 1978, Finzi rediscovered colour by inaugurating a period that in some way followed the bewildering bombardment of images that in the early 1980s became predominant, so much so that from the mid-1980s, tired of that intensity, he looked for a sort of return to a meditative inner world by combining the black background with a resurfacing, emerging use of colour.
The last two photos show the authentication on A4 sheet by Finzi.
