Beautiful huge silver brooch in the style of Arts & Crafts by Norwegian artist master HENRIK MOLLER. The brooch has a graceful floral pattern. Produced around 1900.
Henrik Møller (1858-1937) from Trondheim was the main proponent of Dragestil, a revived Nordic style from the Arts & Crafts period, which was used in the Viking era and early medieval motifs. Many of his works were based on projects found on the early architecture in his native home of Trondheim. His products have been and are still sought after by collectors around the world. Examples of the Molestera Dragestil silver can be found at the Kunstindustrimuseet (Museum of Arts) in Oslo and the Nordenfjeldske Kunstindustrimuseum in Trondheim.
