Thomas Heesakkers is renowned at home and abroad.
Born on the 12th of September 1946 in the Brabant countryside, Thomas Heesakkers asserted himself as a very gifted flower and still life painter.
Life in The Netherlands shortly after the Second World War was not easy. Still the young Thomas was determined in his efforts to be admitted to the Art Academy. He finally succeeded and became the gifted artist he is today. After four years at the Academy, visits to diverse museums and various private lessons, Thomas gave his paintings a unique colour and perspective.
Thomas Heesakkers paints with oils and prefers large sized paintings. Both his still lifes and his landscapes are in a romantic style and his works accurately follow the traditional Dutch School with its great depth, intensity and rich colour palette.
His paintings are in great demand and find their way to many private collections all over the world. Thomas has already exhibited in Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Eindhoven, Venlo and several times in England.
