-Neil Alden Armstrong (Wapakoneta, Ohio, August 5, 1930 – Cincinnati, August 25, 2012) was an American astronaut and the first man to step on the moon in 1969. He was also a fighter and test pilot, aeronautical engineer and professor.
-John Watts Young (San Francisco, September 24th, 1930 – Houston, 5th January 2018) was an American astronaut. He was the first man to fly in space six times, and belonged to the twelve astronauts to fly to the moon.
-Malcolm Scott Carpenter (Boulder (Colorado), May 1st, 1925 – Denver, October 10th, 2013) was an American astronaut. He flew aboard the Mercury MA-7 as the fourth American in space and was a deep-sea researcher with the American navy.
-Paul Joseph Weitz (Erie, July 25th, 1932 – Flagstaff (Arizona), October 23rd, 2017) was an American astronaut.
Weitz’ first space flight was Skylab-2 on May 25th 1973. It was the first manned mission to an American space station.
