Everest Typewriter, 1960s
Serio-Everest was founded in 1929 by seven people who had left SAID in Milan - Società Anonima di Dattilografia - and it was the first company in the world to produce a typewriter with a 4-row keyboard instead of a 3-row keyboard. In 1967 it was absorbed by Olivetti - In 2002 the history of Serio-Olivetti in Crema is reported by the publication ‘Dalla Everest all’Olivetti’ published by the Alfredo Galmozzi Research Centre.
