Oil on linen backed cardboard.
Peter Kadolph, well-known Milanese painter for 40 years now, was born in Brandeburgo (Germany) in 1942.
He attended the painting and decoration school in Gelsenkirchen.
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, first under the guidance of Francesco Castiglione and then as a pupil of Domenico Spinosa.
For this reason, he inherited the rich tradition of Neapolitan painting, which he admirably synthesised with inspiration from his ideal masters of figurative representation: Rembrandt and Wilhelm Liebl.
In Hafke, the breaking of traditional schemes becomes a re-proposal of the last surrealism, conceived as an expressive means, up to the subconscious, to the dream, to the birth of visions.
