Antique set of splendid champagne goblets, 12 pieces in cut crystal sculpted by hand with six petals.
This model is an example of the 'papal' cut, so named because it derives from the Pope's model, and for its cuts, which define the panel. The Pope's model was commissioned by Pope Pius XI in 1923, while its successor, Lady Hamilton, was made for the first time in 1934. Lady Hamilton became one of Moser's most outstanding models, and its popularity continues to this day.
The set is not signed as it was produced before 1936. From that moment onwards, Moser crystal has been a constant presence at royal weddings and meetings of the political elite and has been sought after by those with refined taste.
