Archaic bronze tripod wine container from the Chinese Han period. This item has professional restorations on both sides. The item was purchased at the Japanese Kogire-Kai auction house in 2009 during a "lilent sale" which was conducted online. Beautiful oxidation patina of malachite and cuprite. The remains of the casting seam refer to the earthenware mould the item was originally cast in. Fine details on the handle and an animalistic design at the pouring end.
The seller of this lot hereby guarantees that this item was acquired in a legal manner. He guarantees that he is authorised to ship this lot. In addition, he will ensure that any needed licenses will be arranged. The seller will inform the buyer about this.
