Alessi La Conica espresso coffee maker
"La Conica", designed by Aldo Rosso for Alessi in the eighties, is a designer classic.
It was the first item by Rossi that was mass-produced and quickly became a bestseller.
"La Conica" is seen as the epitome of the connection between architecture and household items. Rosso had the idea of making a simple household item into a miniature monument. The clear shapes, that rise up like a building and make the espresso machine look like a tower, come forth from this idea.
There is even a book about this percolator and serving coffee, titled "La conica e altro caffetiere".
Mirror shine polished stainless steel,
copper bottom for fast conduction, not suitable for induction, suitable for gas and electric stoves.
