Fine profile. ‘High lounge chair’. The chair is in good, used condition. Brushed chrome plated tubular frame with aubergine-coloured upholstery. The upholstery is entirely undamaged, no spots of wear, slightly discoloured however, but not disturbing.

Kho Liang le was a Dutch industrial designer (1927 - 1975), one of the most important designers of the last century. He is best known as designer of the Schiphol interior, which he worked on for 5 years.
Other designers owe their 'fame' or their development at least partially to Kho Liang le. Furniture designer Artifort has become known thanks to him, for example. He also played a crucial part in the development of a young Jan des Bouvries who he met as a 16-year-old and recognized and encouraged his talent.
