Name of the item
EA 124 & 125 original from early 70s
Rotating upholstered armchair with headrest and footrest
In fabric, in red tulip colour and die-cast aluminium
The seats created by the Aluminium Group are the most famous projects of Charles and Ray Eames. They were born in 1958 and belong to the classics of the history of design of the 20th century.
One interesting characteristic of the Aluminium Chair is the intelligent combination of materials. Its form is clean and transparent, the structure is clearly visible. The aluminium sides offer the seat stability and lightness at the same time. In the side parts the upholstery has been fixed and tightened, adapting to the structure and guaranteeing great comfort despite the lack of voluminous padding. The upholstery is not a shell but a part of the structure.

The headrest cushion is practically new as it has never been used and has been preserved for 60 years in a plastic bag.
